Jersey City, NJ -

If you didn't get in on the original Inexhale Bootcamp that opened this summer you still have time to get in on the fun. This fall, coach Liz Montalbano continues the weekend outdoor adventure at the colgate park in Jersey City at 10am every Sunday morning.

Montalbano says it will last as long as the weather permits.

"I started this bootcamp to get my and people's asses out of the gym and outside," says Montalbano, the coach leading the pack.

"It's also a great way to socialize and have fun while doing something healthy for yourself."

People should expect and hour of high intensity back to back full body stations, relays, competitive games and interactive exercise!

"We focus on full body, plyometrics and resistance training," said Liz. "It's a lot of fun."

Cost is $25 a class with no cancellations.

For more information contact Liz at 917-628-8310.

You're Such a Cheater!

Jersey City, NJ -

Happy Sunday all. The weekend was pretty good. Worked most of the day yesterday and vegged out in front of the television at night. Friday was fun though. And quite interesting. I'll get to that momentarily.

So, over the holidays I had a wine and cheese party at my place for all my girls to celebrate together. It was a great way to show my love and appreciation for them as well as an excellent way for them to meet one another and connect.

Overtraining

Sometimes Less is More

Jersey City, NJ -

Woke up this morning at 5am to get my usual 30 minute cardio in before work.

And as usual, I was in the company of the same three folks from my building who, like me, get up insanely early every morning to get it in before the day begins.

One, in particular, I see more often, not just in the morning but in the evenings as well. Two times a day. Consistently. Doing the same thing....either on the elliptical or running on the treadmill. And for hours. A middle aged man, a bit too lean, and on some kind of mission. Not sure what the mission is...but he's on one.

Inspiration Is Contagious

Dear Liz

Hey, I have good news to share – starting today my Mom and sister are on a 3 month biggest loser competition. My mom has also joined weight watchers with my aunt and their first meeting is this afternoon. I am very happy for them to be doing something about their weight. I think what I’ve done has inspired them (especially my sister!) so thank you again.

Love, Meg
